Spencers Wood Village Hall
Spencers Wood Hall was built in 1911 and is run as a non-profit making registered charity. Our aim is to maintain and develop the use of the hall so that it provides a top class facility for people in the local area, to be able to enjoy a range of activities, and to enable private hire. Our vision is that Spencers Wood Village Hall continues to serve as a key part of our community, for the benefit of all residents.
The Hall is run by a committee of Trustees made up of volunteers from the local community and user groups. It is entirely self funded, covering running costs through user fees.
Spencers Wood is ideally situated – less than a mile from Junction 11 of the M4.
The village Hall holds a Performance Society Licence which permits the playing of copyright music or by performers.
If you wish to sell alcohol, a licence is required which is obtained from Wokingham Borough Council. However, you are allowed to give alcohol to your guests free of charge without a licence.
Sorry, we do not allow teenage parties.
